CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS POSITIONS

TECHNICAL

ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN: Our preferred candidate will have a background with hands on experience in circuit design testing and trouble shooting. Experience with radio control systems, battery chargers, and electronic speed controls is desired but will train the right candidate. Must be able to use a soldering iron and have a working knowledge of electronic components as well as being able to create technical reports. A two year electronics degree is strongly preferred. Previous experience in an electronics lab environment with product development experience is desired. Full-time, days.

SOFTWARE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN: Provide customers with technical support for flight simulator software. Experience in downloading and installing internet programs required. Must be knowledgeable with PC hardware, sound/video cards, and have technical experience with software troubleshooting. Model experience a plus. Full-time, days.

PRODUCT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN: Responsible for answering product related questions on inbound help lines. Must have strong desire to be involved in all aspects of R/C hobby. Above average oral and written communication skills required; good customer service and computer skills desired. Previous technical experience in all R/C product categories preferred. Full-time, days.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DESIGNER - GENERAL HOBBY: The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 6-10 years of product design experience. Previous CAD experience (2D and 3D) and technical writing skills are required. Must have good organizational skills and be self-motivated.

PROFESSIONAL

BUYER: Responsible for re-buying of assigned product lines. Perform product line maintenance, monitor accuracy of receivers, expedite incoming shipments, and manage inventory levels to maximize inventory fill and turn rates. Previous purchasing experience in a computerized environment is required. Must have above average math skills and excellent communication skills.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER: Seeking an experienced professional to manage employee relations programs and recruitment activities. This includes responsibility for overseeing all social, recreational and recognition services for the company. Will be responsible for coordinating the publication of the company newsletter, classified ads and assisting with writing other employee communications. Responsibilities also include managing recruitment and selection activities. Position requires 3-4 years experience in a similar role, the ability to multi-task, must be detail oriented and possess good interpersonal skills. Previous recruitment experience in a corporate setting preferred. Strong writing skills required. A Bachelors Degree in English, or a related field desired.

GRAPHIC ARTIST: Bring your expertise at creating graphic artwork and web designs to a position that lets you explore an enormous variety of advertising projects - catalogs, newsletters, magazine ads, mass market, sales flyers, web site designs, and more! You'll complete layout and production on a MacIntosh computer using the latest graphic design software. An Associate's degree in Graphic Design is required, plus experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and HTML. Knowledge of Java, Java Script, and Flash preferred.

MARKETING SPECIALIST: Assist in the development of marketing and promotional plans for house brand car products. Develop and coordinate all marketing, promotions, and advertising materials. Coordinate product release schedules and marketing projects. Must have at least 1 year marketing or advertising experience. R/C industry experience or R/C product knowledge desired.

PRODUCT MANAGER - CAR TEAM: The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience in developing, designing, and/or marketing in the R/C car industry. Extensive hands-on knowledge and involvement with R/C car products and the overall industry are required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

STATISTICAL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR: Compile statistical data for sales analysis and reporting. Strong mathematical skills, a comprehensive background in Excel, and previous experience with report writing and data collection required. Full time, days.


SALES & SERVICE

SALES SUPERVISOR: Oversee a team of sales representatives in an appealing call center environment. This supervisory position is involved in interviewing, ensuring that staff complies with established policies and best practices as well as motivating the phone sales team to improve sales, service to the customer and efficiency. Demonstrated success in sales and customer service as well as strong communication and people management skills required. Initiative, good judgment and sound decision making abilities are a must. Some supervisory experience is desirable. Schedule includes 30-37.5 hours per week, including Saturday 9am-5pm and four weekdays with evening hours no later than 9pm.

SALES PLANNER: Identify and target customer accounts, investigating their buying habits and determine methods to grow customer business. Analyze business potential and specific product areas to increase sales. Generate a sales plan to reach desired sales results and provide follow-up reporting. An extensive background in business-to-business sales, account analysis and previous experience in the toy/hobby industry are required.

SALES REPRESENTATIVE: Take inbound orders from our customers and field basic customer service questions. Make outbound calls to established customer accounts, present daily specials, and assist with special projects. No cold calling. Previous sales or customer service experience and computer knowledge are desirable. Full-time, flexible schedules Mon.- Fri.

CATALOG PHONE ORDER TAKER: Take inbound calls from our catalog customers. Earn $1 - $2 per hour in incentive pay. Work in a casual office atmosphere. Flexible day, evening, and weekend hours. Full or part-time schedules.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REP: Use your problem solving skills and your background in customer service to assist our wholesale customers. Related experience preferred. Full-time, days.


OTHER

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: Seeking a professional individual to provide departmental project and administrative assistance in a fast paced environment. Must have experience with MS Word and Excel. Previous office experience required.

JANITOR: Previous custodial experience desirable, but will train the right person. Full and part-time positions available on 1st and 2nd shift. Work in a clean, safe environment.

SECURITY: Perform periodic inspection tours of buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with established safety policies and procedures. Full and part-time, 1st and 2nd shift and weekend hours available.


WAREHOUSE

PICKER & PACKER: Pick customer orders from shelves or package orders for shipment. Regular full and part-time positions on 1st and 2nd shift. Requires a dependable work history. Previous warehouse experience helpful.

FORKLIFT DRIVER: Assist with stocking and movement of product. Previous forklift experience preferred, but not required. 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift hours are available.

MACHINE OPERATOR: Operate numerous types of machinery including saws, routers, and sanders. Be able to unload trucks when needed. The ability to read a tape measure and input information into the computer are required. Previous carpentry or shop experience desired.

SHIPPING CLERK: Package balsa wood kits and accessories. Unload containers, operate all packaging machinery and forklifts as well as drive the company truck between facilities. Previous manufacturing and forklift experience preferred. Must have Class B CDL license. Full-time, days.

TRUCK LOADER: Responsible for sorting and stacking boxes into truck trailers for shipments. Previous truck loading or warehouse experience desired. FT, 2nd shift hours.


RENO, NEVADA WAREHOUSE

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE: Full and part-time positions available in our Picking and Packing Departments. Requires a dependable work history. Previous warehouse experience helpful. M - F, 1st shift positions available.
